What kind of place is Katahdin Wood Fire Grill & Bar?

We are an American Grill and Bar.
We use Oak, Apple and Almond wood when we grill fish, chops, ribs, steaks
and feature flavors from all around the world.
Becky's talent in the culinary arts shines brightly in each dish she creates.

Our bar, hands down, is the essential meeting place in Portland.
It doesn't take long to make new friends at the bar.
One of the few places where conversation isn't replaced by televisions or distracting music.
At the helm for over 14 years, Winnie provides an atmosphere that is always friendly,
always inviting and you are always welcome.

Katahdin was named after Mount Katahdin here in Maine. The historic Appalachian Trail (better known as the A.T.) extends between Springer Mountain in Georgia and Mount Katahdin in Maine. Along the way, the trail passes through 12 States. Whether a long distance hiker or weekend hiker, you will find community,
friends and self discovery along the way.
